Where do you put your baby when you go round the supermarket?

I push in pram, hubby pushes trolley!

Would never do a full shop by myself! She's always in tears by the end if it!

bit of nostalgia, I remember when Safeway had a creche, dd used to play there for an hour, she had her favorite staff, they used to do activities just like Playgroup. Can't remember exactly what age, between 1 and 4 I think.

Pram. And I pull one of those baskets on wheels behind me.

But l do big food shops online so this is only for top ups.

I leave mine at home with dh and I go on my own - it's so much easier; and I get a rest! Grin

If I have to go with them, where dd sits depends upon how much I have to get. If it's just for a couple of things she walks; a bigger shop and she either sits in the trolley or I hang the basket over the pushchair handles.

Ds now walks as he's too big to sit in the trolley, though sometimes he sits in the driver's seat of the car trolley - but that's really long and incredibly difficult to steer!

When they were both little I used to put baby dd in the reclining seat and ds in the upright chair next to her, graduating to the side-by-side upright seats.

Baby seat if awake, sling if sleeping.

In the trolley. Dd is 11 months and quite enjoys it. There is so much to look at and I natter away to her while we go round. I keep a snack in the bag to give her at the tills because she gets bored at that bit.

depends on age
1st was in the buggy/ carseat with a basket balanced on top
then in a sling
then in the recliner bit of the trolley
now he sits in the seat and loves it

Those of you talking about big shops and top up shops: I have a delivery plan at Tesco (£6 a month), so I now do 3 or 3 day online shops, it just has to be over £25.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 11/09/2014 15:24

Arghhh 3 or 4 day.
