Outdoor autumn footwear for non-walkers

11 months, cruising happily and crawling all over the place. Currently barefoot as I understood that's best for their feet/balance to develop, but what are you supposed to put on them outside now it's turning into autumn? Her feet (and knees) are unspeakably revolting after a trip to the park and playing in the garden this afternoon. She won't keep socks on (and wet muddy socks won't keep her warm anyway).

I found the socks with thin leather soles attached , can't for the life of me remember what they are called, not clogs... Anyway, those soft soled socks that they sell in sainsburys (and More expensive places) to work well for autumn though still not great for when wet. I bought a pair of thinsulate booties, similar to mittens from h and m last year which worked well and were warm and waterproof...

Waterproof booties like the spotty otter ones are good or Togz do some. IME the soft leather shoes are great indoors but hopeless in the wet.

Great, thank you - so essentially, I just need waterproof-ish socky type things. Better than her current Grubby Hobbit look. What odds that she decides to walk within minutes of me buying some...

Can you get her a puddle suit to protect her knees?
