sit nicely on a sofa

mine DT now 5 have to always be reminded that sofas are for sitting on and no kicking/fighting/jumping allowed

other children who come round also want to jump on the sofa but I always politely say no

My stepkids still do it at 11 and 8.5! Drives me nuts and they are always being yelled at for it

Only if they're really tired!

Errr sometimes. They're now 5 and 7. 'This is not a playground' was yelled frequently at times when they were younger Blush They're much better now but still jump off them sometimes when they think I'm not looking!

I still don't sit nicely on the sofa, but there is more chance of ds doing so. It happens occasionally usually when his tea is balanced on his knee he has food issues it is the only way to get him to eat Mostly nope. sofas here are for lying on, swinging legs over the arm rests, watching tv upside down, doing the splits on (oversplits more than normal splits), used for sit ups where you have your legs up at right angles iyswim, arm strengthening exercises. As a kid we used to use the sofa to practise back flips and sumersaults. But only at home.

Adult DD's had an umbrella fight on ours about an hour ago. They are 22 and 18.
