How to cope with two under 15 months?

Tips would be great.

I am also having a csection so won't be able to drive and no public transport.

So planning on setting up tesco online but also having a very well stocked kitchen, toilet rolls, nappies, coffee etc. dh could nip into town in the evenings.

Also going to batch cook a lot. Will start a month before due date.

At the moment I am decluttering and have neary every item of clothing organised and 0-3 stuff washed and in the drawer. There really is no crap around the house to make way for stuff. Picked up a double buggy.

Will get my hair cut the day before due.

Any help appreciated.

I had a 15 month age gap, you'll cope. Distractions for the toddler when feeding ect.
My dh made me and toddler packed lunches for the first few days he was back at work.
Get friends to come to you. I tried to plan something for every day.
Online shopping.
Get the toddler interested and helping.
Maybe some DVDs that the toddler will like incase it all gets too much. Prep as much as you can when 1 or both sleep.
Have somewhere for the baby to sleep that's out of reach from the toddler.
A million stair gates.
:-) I was really worried. But it was fine. When dc2 was 10days old dh got a promotion that involved us relocating 300miles. I packed up a 3 bed house while looking after a newborn and 15 month old. Our house then fell through and found ourselves all sharing a room and furniture in storage. God knows how I coped but I did and survived!! You will too :-) enjoy your babies. Mine are now 2 and 3 and best friends, it's a lovely age gap and after the first 6 months it's much much easier!! Good luck! Grin

My youngest 2 are 12 months apart. Someone with twins told me never to make dr/hv appointments before 11am because it's too stressful. I've got 2 mini changing bags that I can put in my big one that each holds a nappy, few nappy sacks, mini pack of wipes and a vest or baby grow. My 2 little ones have one each and it helps keep things organised in the changing bag.

Ours are twelve months apart. We found a playpen useful to plonk baby into (Moses basket 'n' all out of toddler reach if you need to go and answer the door/ make a cup of tea / go to the loo.
Online shopping is a godsend. Also, If baby can use bottle as well as breast, then your partner will be able to help more and let you get some sleep. Don't feel guilty about jars/pouches of food - whatever makes it easier.

Mine are 12 months apart and I had a CS too. Most useful was the baby changing station i- very useful after a c section also and for keeping the baby away from the toddlers reach. Also had Moses basket in a playpen so baby could nap whilst any "helpful" rocking from older sibling.

Jumperoo or similar for baby to be upright to see but out of harms way when my DS1 was just getting to grips with walking/running.

Agree with poster above - lots more baby proofing/baby gates second time round as just not possible to watch both up and down stairs safely 100% of the time. It's far easier just having to follow one child around!

When my little one was 6 months, I signed up to a 15 week maths course at a local children's centre. I didn't need it to learn basic maths, I did it to have two hours off a week childfree.

The babies were in the creche in the next room so I could hear they if they cried but it was a Godsend just to be able to have a cup of tea and switch of for a few hours.

Yes a Moses basket in a playpen did the job for us too. Baby Einstein DVDs for the 15 month old were fab. Still a bit young for cbeebies.
