Cot with extra-high sides?

Help! My toddler daughter can climb out of her cot and I'm not ready to put in her a bed yet... does anyone know of a cot that has extra high sides?

Below is our current cot (I already have it on the lowest setting):

I am getting desperate with second baby due soon! Thanks in advance!

What about a travel cot for a little while? Ours is much deeper than the cot.
Is there a reason you don't want her in a bed yet?

Just stick her in a bed. Honestly it won't be that bad. She's clearly ready even if you're not.

Thanks GingerR. I have the BabyBjorn travel cot which she can also climb out of, but I'm sure there are others with higher sides. Can you recommend one?

I agree with Iggly, stick her in a bed OP. Put a stair gate on the bedroom door and go for it. If she can climb out of a babybjorn travel cot she's going to climb out of pretty much anything I'd think.

You can get specially made high sided cots but would be v expensive.

Mattress on floor or bed really. If she can climb out a higher one would just be even more dangerous as would fall from higher height.

How old is she? Mine have cotbeds so still use but we had to take sides off around 18 months with both as they would just climb out. Does your cot have that option?

Extra tall stair gate(for large animals) on her door?

'Stay in your bed worked in this house but not all children are biddable and I actually have no idea how our nanny stopped her from doing it. Sat at the door at nap times probably until she gave up.

Get a bed ASAP before she gets injured. Both mine climbed out early so went into a bed at 19 mths ish.
It was fine and you need to do it soon enough anyway. A friend of mine had a son who badly broke his arm falling out of a cot. The cot will be needed for next one anyway Grin

I agree with a bed too higher sides just mean a worse fall if she climbs out especially if she' struggling over higher bars she could go head first. DS went in a bed at 17 mo and was fine.
