NCT bumps & babies

There is a local nct baby group near me that meet weekly. Do you need to be an NCT member to go? They charge a couple of pound a week to cover costs so it doesn't come out of membership fees.
Our membership is about to expire after ds1 and I'm pregnant and would like to go with ds2 but don't want to pay can't afford to renew my membership.

I didn't pay anything when I went along...

Ours haven't required membership wherever it's been held.

It used to be in a cafe, which was free to attend buy you needed to buy a drink and cake. Then it moved to a space in a local softplay, so was free to get into the softplay ideal for people with a baby and older preschooler but the group needed £1 a head to pay for our access.

This one is in a church hall. Definitely need to pay to attend.

You definitely don't need to be a member to go along. I used to be on the committee for my local NCT. They want to reach as many people as possible. Go along and meet people and hopefully someone will make you a cup of tea Grin

Thanks thumbs. I'm just looking at options at min. Ds will be 18m so ideally looking for a group where I can take them both along.
