I just found out I'm very early pregnant and DD is only 15 months. It's absolutely fine and we did always intend to have our children close together but now I'm wracked with guilt that I'm not going to spend time alone with DD for longer. She's turning into this amazing little person who's so full of character and hilarity and I'm really worried that when baby comes along in eight months she's going to miss out not having had us to herself for longer.

This was something I (stupidly) hadn't considered we decided we'd like them to be 2 years apart. And I certainly don't regret being pregnant IYKWIM? I just feel really guilty that she's never going to remember what it was like to have mummy and daddy all to herself for a while.

2 years and 12 days between my boys. Never a jot of sibling jealousy and they have been a solid little team since day 1.

Its hard work at the start but by 6months it was fine and easier than one as they could play together.

Where their little sister will fit in we ahave yet to see but I suspect she will find her place.

There's 12 months between my 18 and 5 month olds.

I'd say the first 4 months were extremely hard-going. I was incredibly anxious all the time, nausea, headaches, migraines, my GP prescribed ADs (which I didn't take) and I wondered if I had PND.

Only now are things starting to settle and, hopefully, I'm emerging out of the fog.

My 18 month old (who is also speech-delayed) now goes to a childminder a couple times a week, breaks up the monotony of the week for him and allows me quality time with 5 month old.

Would some form of childcare be feasible for you?
