How to get her dry at night??

My daughter is 3 1/2 and has been dry in the day for a year. We have tried her without nappies on few months back, at night, but she just wet the bed, and not know about it. So, we thought she's not ready yet, and put her back on nappy.

Now, few months on, we thought we'll try again. First night, fantastic, completely dry. But that's it. After that, wet every night, at different times. We have not lifted her, because we didn't think it was a good idea, as she would not learn.

It's been a week, she's not been dry at all. She does not know when she wets herself in the night, as she does not wake and say, "mummy, i'm wet". It does not bother her at all, until morning.

Any advice?? Please help.

So you put her back on nappies?

Leave it - she doens't sound ready yet if she doesn't even wake when she has wet .

MY DD is 4.5, and is still wet most nights, I am not taking her out of nappies until we get at least a couple of dry ones, although am regularly suggesting she tries to stay dry at night, inorder to give har the idea that it would be a good thing to do. Not too worried at the moment tough.

It's not something you can force if she's not ready ... it's not that it doesn't bother her, she just isn't waking to go to the toilet.

There's apparently a hormone which suppresses urination overnight, and until they start to produce it they simply can't be dry.

My dd is 5 and still in nappies at night time - she just isn't ready yet, and it's not worth worrying about.

Yea that's what I thought. I'll just have to put her back on nappy and try again later. Thanks all!
