9 week old being sick after bath and feed, any advice please?

My little boy is 9 weeks old and we have been bathing him every other night at the moment but want to start bathing him every night and trying to start getting into a bath and bed routine.

The problem is the nights when he has a bath we are feeding him after a bath and before we put him down to sleep and he is fine then about 10 minutes after he finishes his feed he throws it all back up again everywhere! He then is hungry and wants feeding again, has a couple of ounces and goes to sleep as normal.

On the nights he doesn't have a bath he had his last feed and goes straight down to sleep no problem and no sick.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Mot had the issue no, but could you still bathe him every other day but do it in the morning and try a book, massage, milk and bed for his bedtime routine?

I bath my 10 week old DD in the mornings every other day. Bedtime routine is into PJs, song, feed and bed. I find the bath too much hassle in the evening and DD seems perfectly happy as is!

Can you hold him upright for about half an hour after his feed. Dd's wind used to get delayed for some reason and if you put her down flat after a feed she'd throw it back up. She would burp after feeding but need another one about 20 minutes later

Best advice I was given was to actually feed before bath which I actually still do DS is 7.5mths. This also stops "feeding to sleep association" and maybe (I say maybe as I've not had the problem) but give more time for milk to settle in tummy.

Just a suggestion!

Thanks everyone for the advice, will give them all a try.
