How to talk about playgroup with dd who's very wobbly about going

Dd has just had her first week at Playgroup, it didn't go too well, on Friday they even had to sort of peel her off me, but apparently she settled down after a while.
She's going on Tuesday next, I don't know what to do about it until then, talk about how great it all is and how much fun, or just leave it until Tuesday morning? I so desperately want her to go and enjoy it.

How old is she? Can you put it off until after half term? Or stay with her for a few sessions?

She's just turned three.
She went there from February to April and got progressively worse, even though I stayed with her for weeks. Then I took her out.
I now feel that it's time for her to settle into it, after all she will unfortunately start school this time next year! I fear that if she doesn't get used to being away from me now then it will be so much harder once she starts school!

Each child is so different - perhaps it will just "click". Can you start a regular treat/ritual that you do after each session - picnic, park, something you enjoy together?

It can be like this for a time for some children. You will have to stay strong and focused because if you take her then remove her again she will think when school time comes that this is how it will go.
I would leave it until tuesday try to keep everything normal she may pick up on your anxiety.Best way but terribly hard on you is to drop her and go if you stay with her for a few weeks it will only raise the issue again. Keep your phone accessible if there is a really big problem they will call for sure.
FWIW we have 2 children new to reception this week who need peeling off but by 9am they are settled and playing happily.
Good luck xx
