Washable training pants

Can anyone advise on good washable training pants? I want some that are feel as pant-like as possible and will contain a small wee.
My DD is 21 mo and we started training 2 weeks ago and was dry for wee's in 5 days . But I'd like a bit of a safety net for things like going to soft play centres and when she's at her kids group at church and I'm not there.
I borrowed some training pants and she wore them on a day out a week into the training, and she didn't notice the difference to knickers - no accidents and asked to use the potty, so I don't think she'll regress by wearing them.

Boots sell reasonably priced training pants that are towelling stuff inside and plastic outers - they're similar to knickers but my dd refused to wear them - wanted her 'princess knickers'.
I also bought some 'bright bots' trainer pants - these were quite thick and padded at the crotch and small fitting (and about 4 quid each which is pretty pricy I think). She didn't like them (again) but had she worn them they'd have been much more absorbent.
Stupid me for buying fancy disney ones to encourage her. I didn't find pullups etc at all useful as too 'nappy like'

I agree washable training pants aren't easy to come by and I was initally quite keen on them as I used cloth nappies. I was put off by the cost and the fact that they would (hopefully) be used for a very short time. In the end I just bought 30 - yes 30! - pairs of cheap pants from a well known cheapo high street shop at 10 pairs for £1 as my 2.5 year old dd had lots of accidents at first, often wetting 8-10 pairs in one day! I still take a change of clothes and put a tea towel in the buggy when we go out. I think the feeling of wetness has helped her to learn and she mas much fewer accidents now.

I've got some Bumpy training pants made by Imse Vimse. Kittykins do them here Scroll down to "Bumpy"

THey look and feel like pants and are cotton on the outside - the waterproofing is hidden. Nice unisex print.

THey'll hold one accident but would need changing immediately so best if your dd could say she's had an accident IYSWIM rather than waiting until she's been spotted!

They were good for ds and he now wears them at night just in case

That's training pants not swim pants - although they look good too
