My ds has always been a fantastic eater but has had a high temp and off his food for 4 days now (temp getting better today). But he still wont eat?! Driving me mad im literally at my wits end. Have been trying all his usual favs and making different food from scratch buying shop bought jars... even the fruit jars and fromage frais which he would usually scoff but nothing is working! Hes literally had around 8oz of milk a day and the odd spoonful of yogurt/fruit over 4 days. He seems well in himself though should I be worried? Any advice from mums of fussy eaters? Ive never had to deal with this so new territory!!

If he has had a high temp and only just starting to get better I expect he's still feeling a bit under the weather. My DD who is a very good eater normally hardly ate a thing for 10 days over Easter when she was poorly. It takes a while for them to get back to normal after illness and if he's eaten well before he'll go back to it. Just make sure he gets plenty to drink and you keep offering a bit of food at meal times.

Thanks I really hope he does go back as he loved his food (and yes def not wasting away lol). He is drinking an ok amount but nappies have been almost dry most changes. Hes def doing small wee's, was a little concerned but still tears when he cries and dribbly so imagine hes not dehydrated?

Some good ideas there thanks. He loves fruit (usually) so may get a selection tomorrow and try the ice lolly thing :)
