Hi
My ds and another friend have been having play dates. She asked me how to book, local village hall for her sons party tomorrow. Hall looks booked as tho for a party. We both have daughters and they are both in the same private nursery but they've never had play dates and there is a year between them do I didn't invite her dd to my dd party. Now my son doesn't seem to have invited my ds to her sons party. Do you think this was tit for tat? Can't believe shed do that and it's our turn to have her son over but now I feel awkward. There in the same class and spend lots of time together in after school club so don't understand unless an invite got waylaid..... Playground politics sigh.

is it possible that your son lost the invitation? That happens loads with my children. They put the invitation in their tray at school then forget about it.

It's possible. He came home one day with what he said was 2 invites. Looked in his bag and one only. Prob is its a bit delicate to ask.... Dh thinks I should but I think its a bit rude - esp if there is a reason he wasn't invited.
