My 4 month old ds is teething and im not sure if theres anything i can give him. Ive got the teething bonjela and he has some little toys that you put in the fridge so he can chew them but i was wondering if i can try anything else??

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Calgel is better than bonjela in my experience - and I'm pretty sure you could give him a little calpol to help with any of the pain.

the Nelsons Teetha powders are good too. (think they're o.k from that age)

Hi are you sure its teething? The other medicine to try is medised for an evening which is paracetamol but has decongestant which has a side effect of making babies a little drowsy, settling your baby so he can sleep.

im presuming he's teething he's constantly chewing his fists, dribbling, and his bottom gum looks a bit red and it looks like there is a tooth under it

I always used anbesol with my ds. You can get it in liquid or gel. I prefered the liquid. I found calgel or bonjela gets eaten rather than doing any good! Liquid doesn't move round the mouth so much.

Hope it helps

Love and a wooden spoon to bite on.

Another one for Nelson's teetha powder here. Works instantly and is suitable from birth. It's homeopathic.
