Pink muslins - where to buy?

HI,

Can anyone help please? I am looking for pink muslins for my daughter. Mothercare only sell white or white with blue bears on.

I'm not sure where to look.

Thanks.

Buy white muslims. Put in hot wash with something red. Voila - pink muslims!

Oops - meant Muslins - not muslims!

MamaG · 05/09/2006 10:38

I did that prettybird although I didn't mean to. Also did it with DH's chef whites

He was the only Head Chef in Leeds in a pink uniform!!

Six packs at Jojomamanbebe .

I've done too recently MamaG. Twice in quick succession . We now have a number of pink running T-shirts and a pink fitted bed sheet - even after two "Colour Run Remover" washes. Eventually tracked down the culprit to a Next T-shirt that is not even red and you would never have thought would leak colour.

or alternatively make sole jelly using muslin to strain. Stains them beautifully.

Big pack of white ones, pack of pink Dylon machine dye. Voila, bright pink musins.

"or alternatively make sole jelly using muslin to strain. Stains them beautifully."

Doesn't that make them smell of fish, though?

I also feel the need to point out that they are generally for wiping up baby puke, so the colour isn't 'that' important surely!?

3catstoo · 05/09/2006 14:03

Thanks everyone.
I should add that they are not for a baby as such. They are for my 2 yr old who HAS to take one to bed with her or out in the car if nap time. We had 3 yellow and 3 green, used on 2 previous children. She only likes the yellow and tells me that the green do not work !!
I suggested to her that we get some pink ones (thinking that M/C would sell them) to replace the grotty ones that she sucks on to get to sleep. We've lost 2 yellow ones and so the remaining one has to be washed and dried in no time. I could do without the stress really.
All seems very petty but in aid of a good nights sleep I shall be buying a pack of pink muslins for her.

Many thanks. I will probably get them online as I cannot face another trip to the shops after school shoe shopping and uniform shopping.
