Which is which meal (for your dc)

After reading the quiche thread I was wondering if there was a norm for what other parents did re - a main meal and a light meal?

Which way round do you do it?

Big dinner and light tea?

Light dinner and big tea?

Both big?

Does hot/cold food have any impact on this?

My elder two dc have a packed lunch at school which is cold, I consider this the "light" meal in their day although i do include I think plenty of stuff incase they are hungry which they usually are
Then they tend to have a big cooked tea

Dd on a nursery day has big dinner and light tea, on a non nursery day she has similar to the older dc

Varies a lot. But generally one cooked meal and one sandwiches/something on toast type meal. Mainly cooked at tea time rather than lunch.

Sometimes in the summer the main meal is a picnic type affair instead.
But really if they have two cooked meals, or two snacky meals in one day - so what. Swings and roundabouts etc.

Both cooked here.
