Bamboo nappies

Hi - I've tried various cloth nappies and not been overly impressed, due to long drying times, bulkiness etc. Can anyone tell me if bamboo nappies are any slimmer fitting, comfier for dd (16 weeks).
Also, any brand recommedations gratefully received.
Thanks in advance!!

I've only tried Bamboozles, although there are rave reviews for Wambamboos. Bamboozles are excellent IMO. Slow to dry but ever so absorbent, nice & slim and soooo soft.

What others have you tried BTW? I ask because I find stuffies are lovely. Quick drying but absorbent, and very soft and comfy to the touch. Very cheap if bought secondhand, too.

Hi, After trying loads of different nappies and changing my mind over and over again I have gone over to Wambamboos! My little one is 7 weeks old and I am using a size 2 as a birth to potty option. They are very slim fitting even with a wrap, obviously a little bulkier than a dispicable but alot less noticible than with cotton nappies. The fit is brilliant, they seem really absorbent and have even coped with my littleones breastpoo explosions! Drying time is still long though. The reviews on these have been great which is why I decided to give them a go. I am now the proud owner of 24!!

Hope this helps

Thanks guys. I used the Nappy Trial Service and they sent me about 12 different types of shaped nappies and wrays. I don't know if maybe dd was too small (5-6weeks) at the time but they all seemed SO big/restrictive on her and she couldn't move her little legs to have a kick.
Will probably try the Bamboozles or Wambamboos as I've now seen quite a few great reviews.
One more question dueinjuly - can you tumble dry them?
Thanks again.

I remember only too well how huge DS's Tots looked on him when he was a fortnight old! I thought 'how'll he manage to move in THAT?'.

Hi again

I tumble mine on a low heat setting for about 2 hours as I have no line drying facilities, the washing/drying instructions say this is alright and I read that this was ok but bamboo shouldn't be dryed on a hot setting.
