Don't you just love it when they are little sponges???

This morning at 8.30, I left a non-clapping baby (DS, 10 months) at nursery.

At 5pm, I picked one up that was clapping his hands... constantly till cot-time!!! I am amazed at the speed at which he is learning at the moment. In the last two weeks, he learned to crawl, pull himself up, stand just holding onto st,h with one hand, clap, hold his bottle etc etc etc.... every day there is something new. I love it!

So... what has your baby learned today?

My baby has learned to scream an excruciatingly loud high pitched scream. He has been screaming all day. I wish he'd learn to put a sock in it!

Mine's 17 months. Today he has learned that if he presses on the TV screen it will blanch for a couple of seconds Angry He has also learned to do this very quickly then run away laughing before mummy catches him.

Today has been a long day and my mum had him for most of it!

My 14 month old DS learnt that he can walk outside! Put him down and he walked up the garden path and was very pleased with himself.

My ds (13 months) learnt to feed himself (messily) with a spoon, watched me brushing my hair & tried to use my hair brush to brush his & giggled his head off when he realised he could splash in the puddles. He's just learnt to walk & today, for the first time, when I came home he shouted mama & ran towards me with his little arms waving in the air. Ahh, my heart melted.

I don't know what he learnt but whatever it was, it was very interesting. DS (13 months) was in the garden while I was weeding our raised vegetable boxes. He spent the whole time lining up handfuls of mud and bits of gravel on the edge of the box. He was completely absorbed in whatever he was doing. I said to DH at the time that I'd love to know what's going through his head as it seemed very important to him.

DD (7 months) has learnt that if she drops food over the side if the high chair, watches it hit the ground, then looks up and smiles, she gets a big laugh from her brother Confused

Tooth grinding. Excellent. It is the worst noise ever.

Yesterday DD, 15 months told me she'd done a poo Grin

I went up to get her up from her nap and she was stood up grinning and said "Poo" - now, I wasn't sure she quite understood what exactly that means so I asked her, "Have you done a poo?" "Yes", she nodded enthusiastically.

She had too! So proud Blush

I'm amazed at the things which make me happy these days...

DS (22mo) learnt to raise and lower his eyebrows quickly. I taught him. It has us both in fits of giggles :)
