Really silly question here but what do you call your private parts to your children?

I don't know what to call a woman's bits to my child! Silly I know, I don't like what I was told to call it as a child so I wondered what other words I can use that are sort of decent to say not rude. Oh god I sound stupid don't I

Anglo I work in a CP job. 'Vulva' is a part of the vagina (it would be like a boy saying 'foreskin' or 'gonads'). Generally we encourage the use of 'vagina' as the correct term with young people. For the reasons you say.

I would prefer if there were a well known female equivalent to "willy" and then I would use that, but there isn't, so I will have to use the medical terms with DD.

You have that the wrong way around squiz, the vagina refers to the vaginal opening and the passage to the cervix, the vulva refers to the whole external organ. When you are asking a girl in the bath to wash her vagina, that probably isn't what you mean.

Most people are more aware of the term 'vagina' though so it might be more useful for those CP issues, and it does have a generally accepted non-medical usage which is synonymous with vulva, so I don't think it really matters.
