She has sensitive little face and I don't want to get a cream with all crap In it. Are there creams that are suitable for babies? Obviously I cover her up in sun and she has a sun hat but I would like cream for her face and when it gets warmer she might wear dresses or whatever. Thanks I'm advance!

Green a People the SPF is not particularly high because it is the "crap" that makes them higher. But lower SPF ok if you reapply it frequently. I have never had a problem with Nivea Children's sunscreen on DS's eczema-y skin, and I have always had him in a uv suit.

We use Aveeno for our DS who used to have severe eczema

We used Soltan Baby on DS last summer (he turned 6mo last June), both here in hot weather and on holiday in a sunny country. Obviously he wore a sun hat, t-shirt and shorts, stayed in the shade as much as possible, but we wanted to be careful. He has sensitive skin and eczema but we had no problems with this.

(Not proper shorts, linen-y ankle length trouser things, not sure what they're called!)

Swear by Nivea factor 50, never fails.

Jason's factor 45 is good.

None of the crap in it. Both dds wear this and dd1 (the one with the eczema doesn't react at all to it) it's non greasy too rubs in nicely

Sun cream isn't recommended for very young babies?

www.avene.co.uk/Very-High-Protection-Spray-SPF-50+

I was advised to use this - they also do a childrens one .DD2 has very sensitive skin and it lets it breathe as well.

I get sunsense factor 50 on prescription for my ds who has albinism, prescribed since he was a couple of weeks old.

La Roche posay anthelios. Expensive but brilliant.

I bought the Sudocrem one, but don't know if it's any good yet!
