OTC eczema cream

My 7wo DS has mild eczema on his cheeks. My GP suggested aqueous cream but that hasn't made a difference. I like the sound of the Aveeno baby eczema cream but I don't think it's available in the UK. Any other non-steroid creams good?

Doublebase gel is available OTC and my DS and I both find it good, especially for calming itchy dry skin.

I use the aveeno moisturising lotion and the bath oil for dd. Both available on prescription if they do work. They're just about the only ones without a paraffin base, which really sets DD's skin off.

Thanks all, I ordered the Aveeno Baby Eczema cream from eBay and after one application I can already see the difference.

Aqueous isn't meant to be a moisturiser, you're meant to wash with it. There's a NICE guideline about it, the GP shouldn't be suggesting it. Please don't worry about steroid use if it really comes to it. We were using steroids on DS at 5 months old (his eczema was top to toe) and it made an amazing difference to his skin. We use diprobase on DS's skin.
