Do you bathe with your children? And if so until what age?

Just wondering! After a conversation with a friend, I was wondering what age people's children are when they stop having baths with their parents?

My friend said that she thought it was strange and "slightly wrong" that our other friend and her partner still have baths with their little boy, who is 2.8yo.

My DD is 8mo and the best part of the day is when I can get in the bath with her and have a splash around :)

Just wondering if many other parents do this, and what age did you stop?

Yes dd still jumps in with me (or vice versa) sometimes. She is 11.

DD is nearly 8 and we still have a bath together about once a week. It is not weird. Itis a great time to relax and chat. We love it. Will stop when she want to stop.

It's a completely natural thing to do IMHO.
My DC love getting in the bath with me - DD 8yrs and DS 5yrs.
They often choose that time to talk about things that are troubling them. It also naturally gives us chance to talk about "bodies".
I also think that I'm role modelling that they do not need to be ashamed of their bodies .

When they stop wanting to. I stopped having baths with my mum when I was about 11 or 12. I have boys so I expect they'll want to stop earlier than that, but I'll be totally led by them.

Mine are 2 and 4. Bathed with DS1 until he was nearly 4, now I work full-time and he has had a bath by the time I get home. Both sometimes shower with DH or me, completely natural. DS1 has tried to get his grandmothers to bathe with him but both have refused. We were quite amused.

Mine are aged 6 and 4 and every time I have a bath or shower they magically appear naked beside me. They like to use suds to cover my modesty.

Until the three of us couldn't fit in there which was when the eldest was about 4.

DS2 loved jumping in the bath with me and did so right up until we moved house in 2011 (the house we moved to didnt have a bath)- he would have been 8 at that point.
