Getting stains out

Any advice on getting yellow breastfed baby poo stains out of cloth nappies without resorting to bleach! Currently wash in fairy non bio at 40 degrees with a spoonful of nappy fresh. I think I might be using too little detergent as I now live in a hard water area (previously lived in soft water area when using them for DD1)
Thanks

Add soda crystals to the soap drawer, wash at 60c and hang out in the sun.

Hang out wet in the sun.

But tbh, don't bother. You'll be going through the pain of it every single time you go to wash them. Wait until bubba is on solids, make a real effort to brighten/bleach them in the sun and gradually the stains will disappear and solids poo is not as staining as bf poo.

Whatever you do don't use the oxy-clean, chemicals etc. I did and it gave ds terrible nappy rash.

You really don't need to worry about stains unless you're going to sell on the nappies. HTH

Also, if you're going to use more detergent don't use many soda crystals or you'll have bubbles everywhere! A small scoup of each. Also, white vinegar is supposed to help. Mine always came out smelling awful so I didn't try it long enough to see if it helped.

you could try fleece liners, I made some out of polar fleece from a fabric shop, cut them slightly wider than the nappies so they cover them and hold them under the flush when pooey, they'll stop staining.

Otherwise sunlight, we live in the Thames Valley (v hard water) and use about 50ml of fairy powder detergent + a dessertspoon of nappy fresh (in the prewash).

If you don't already, also try a cold prewash, hot water sets stains so a cold rinse before the hot wash could help
