Shopping with a newborn and toddler is madness, right?

DD is 2.4 and hard work when grocery shopping. I have to keep her constantly entertained with shopping 'tasks', she refuses to sit in the trolley and basically every trip ends in tantrum.
I am 36 weeks pregnant and told DH that when the baby arrives I will be shopping online for groceries. He seems to think I'm being 'precious' and should be able to manage it since millions of other mums do. Okay, it's a bit extra but it won't break the bank.
Am I being precious or is DH being unreasonable?

Most shops do cheaper deliveries if youspend over a certain amount. Sainsburies is free over £100. Sounds like a lot until you start addingin nappies! I do it about every six weeks and do quick run and grabs inbetween. And spend a fortune in the coffee shop.

i do it with a 5mo and 22mo and it is starting to wear thin tbh. non negotiable is that dd1 sits in the trolley and I have to distract her with her own list and with helping me choose things. she mostly wants to read my list and poke her sister in the eye.

we are Aldi shoppers so I am not keen to pay more although I will be investigating it .

there is only one double trolley for 2 sit up babies so something will have to give anyway.
