I havn't done very well in past yr. Mainly because lack of money for childcare and also exhaustion.
I can't beleive I'm going to ring them on monday see what I can do.

I've handed all off my essays in late this yr so prob deserve it. I work part-time and study full-time at Uni. 3 days a week I travel across London at 5.30am to drop my dh off and pick her up and get home for 6-7pm. I think I've really buggered everything up. My 1st yr was easy until I fell preggers and have struggled ever since.

I feel like so depressed.

blimey that seems a bit harsh, unless you were given lots of warnings beforehand?

at most universities the first person to contact would be your personal tutor. do it on Monday (he/she is more likely to be around now than in aug I would have thought).

But anyway it sounds like you have a lot on your plate. when you ring them can you find out about continuing part time? or even collecting your credits and continuing with the ou? an education is a good thing but it is not worth driving yourself to exhaustion for.

Nobody has contacted me or given warning. If they had I would have tried to sort it out.

I'm hoping they will let me carry on part-time. I should have gone part-time when I started to feel pressured...but I thought I could do everything.

well good luck when you ring them.

oh, gosh! I'm surprised your personal tutor hasn't taken you aside before this happened! I assume s/he didn't as you sound quite surprised by it.

can't give you any advice apart from speak to tutor first thing in the morning - preferably make an appointment to see them face to face. Most unis are supportive so good luck.

And I'm glad you've faced up to the fact that you can't do everything! You've done so well to keep it up for as long as you have so be proud of that.
