So ..my son who is eighteen and showers regularly is convinced he smells. Is there a product that you can recommend that masks all potential smells?

Have you tested this by checking him yourself with a good sniff after he has had a shower?

I am waiting for a manufacturer to call their product Armageddon, certainly the powerful stuff teens apply seem to hang in the air for ages, but aside from the products that apparently make them alluring to females, has he tried Perspi Guard? Supposedly scientifically formulated "to stop excessive sweat and problem odour".

Is masking a smell a good idea if it there is some medical cause?

I only ask because someone I used to work with had had bouts of sinusitis and was convinced he had a body odour problem, he was miserably self-conscious, in fact the smell was in his nose, and was worse after suffering a cold.

If he is washing properly and wears clean clothes and tries the aforementioned but still has this problem, then suggest he goes to his GP to talk about this, at the very least he might get prescription strength anti-perspirant.
