Can anyone recommend a night light for a 4 year old?

I have this one

www.amazon.co.uk/Celeste-Moon-Night-Light/dp/B008ZD0AWW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389720476&sr=8-2&keywords=night+light

but the instructions say it shouldn't be left plugged in whilst in use and you're supposed to charge it, take it off the base and use it at night and then charge it again during the day. We have been doing this since Christmas, but it turns off about 6 hours in and DD is waking at 4am-finding no light on and coming to wake me up-grrrr!

Can anyone recommend a light (not just one of those not very bright plug in ones) that can stay on all night?

She had www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4325444.htm

but it broke so I don't want to buy another! She loved this though-it made all pretty colourful patterns and was quite soothing, I think!

Personally I don't consider gadgets like this do children any favours, and may even be storing up problems and anxieties as they get older.

Is her room TOTALLY dark? Is there no light - natural, or street light - coming in through her window?

If she has dolls/teddies in bed encourage her to 'look after' them, so that they are not worried about the dark, then maybe she will be braver too.

If money not an object then this is very good. Nice soft night light with touch sensitive reading light activation and the nightlight shape changes to a sun when it's time to wake up.

It's plug in but LED so minimal power.

on't remember reading that you can't leave them plugged in, but you can download and read the instructions online.

We have these here, a lovely soft light that reminds me of mine when I was a child.
