i have heard it is good for babies who suffer with wind. has anyone tried it and does it work or not?

i have used mint and fennell tea. works wonders for babies with diarhoea.
how old is the baby? i wouldnt give it to a tiny baby though..

I drank gallons of the stuff when breastfeeding dd as I heard it would help. Her wind really did seem to improve, but that could have been coincidence.

Have heard that the fennell tea is best for a baby, but I do give my ds (2.4) Camomile tea now - he loves it, although I did it to help him calm down before sleep time

well just getting a bit of background info really. ds is only 3 weeks old but was told you can give it from about 3 months.

chamomile tea is a natural mild sedative...it can be given to babies with colic/wind etc, but in a very mild solution, it doesnt actually help the wind as such but relaxes the baby so the wind is easier to bring up, likewise with a colicky baby it can help soothe them. never used it with my two but know it can be used. see a homeopath to get the correct solution before using though

has anyone else found that this helped or didn't help their babies wind?
