can your child have vaccinations with a cold?

DD is due to have her first set of vaccinations (at 2 months)this week. She has a slight cold - snuffles and an occasional cough and sneeze rather than a temperature. I seem to remember with ds that for the MMR jab there was a lot of stress put by the GP surgery on him not being at all ill, including colds and coughs, before the jab. Is this the same for the earlier vaccinations?

that reads wrong sorry ,i mean i dont think they will immunise a baby with a cold and i would argue against it being given .I put off dd2's immunisations due to snuffles and excema flare up's but she had them all eventually!

Spoke to my HV yesterday about this actually, and she said that if they are ill then no you cant have the vaccine, as normally what they are getting vaccinated for they give them a mild dose of it so they build their immunity to it, they can get rashes or temperature anyway after injection so if they are ill to begin with i dont think your little one will respond well. Thats my take on it anywho
