Who love dinosaurs, space, and trains.
We have toy dinosaurs, and a train set. Also have see inside books on those subjects.
They are also like numbers and counting, they love reading numbers on doors, licence plates etc, the same with letters on road signs.
Any ideas about games or apps etc I can do with them, we play shops quite a bit and they enjoy counting out money.

Tia.

This wooden crocodile alphabet jigsaw is lovely, and in the sale on zulily:

Ds1 has one of those and we've had lots of fun putting him together and finding the letters. Ds1 is now 4.9yo but we've had it since he was 3yo and he really enjoyed it then.

Usborne Phonics Readers are nice little books for children starting to learn to read and working out letters and sounds.

Thanks, will check them out.

Favourite game I recommend to everyone is Richard Scarry's Busytown - first board game DS1 (3.5) has enjoyed and can play - spotting stuff, counting things, cooperative play, taking turns - I highly recommend it.

That looks brilliant, thanks.

I was thinking about snakes and ladders, but this looks really good.

Orchard Toys have a dinosaur jigsaw...they also have one, two, tree - counting to ten puzzle with animals on the branches. My DD loves them even now the challenge of putting to puzzle together is less than it once was.

The Orchard Toys shopping list game is good, and we like playing snap as well.

Have you tried ladybirds 'I'm ready for phonics'. At £4.99 it is quite expensive but it has loads of levels and will see my DC a number of years. Really well madeand fun. A counting app would be good though
