Rolling baby help!

It's been a while since I have had to deal with this. What do you do when the baby rolls on their tummy then gets stuck?
I can't do anything. As soon as I go to the loo/do the washing up/try to cook dd rolls on her tummy then squawks because she is stuck. I turn her over move an inch away then she rolls on her tummy and squawks because she is stuck repeat a million times a day.
She hates her bouncy chair now she can roll. I thought I would remember what I did with the older dc but I can't.
Please help save my sanity

My son was the same - no magic solutions, but after about a month of loads and loads of time on the floor each day he has finally got the hang of it.

Sometimes he does still squawk if he rolls onto his tummy in his cot, but I know he's just testing me because if I stand out of sight he'll roll back over a minute later.

It took my son learning how to sit up to fix this! Wine

Let her squawk for a bit - how else will she learn? Obviously if she's upset then help out but if it's a frustrated noise, I used to leave dd for a minute or two to see if she could sort herself out.

At night I pram harnessed dd to both sides of her cotbed.. It sounds awful but it made the difference between 30 minutes sleep at a time and 2 hours. Once she was rolling about all over the place I get it up

Sorry, aaaargh! GAVE it up

My 6mo DS has been doing this for several weeks now and still hasn't worked out how to right himself. If he's in the right mood or has something interesting to look at he can happily lie there for several minutes, otherwise he'll just wail. I will flip him back on his back but he'll immediately roll over again and cry!

Unfortunately he's started doing this in his cot too and will always wake himself up! I've had to put a rolled up towel under his sheet near his knees to stop the flipping in the night - it seems to be working!
