Cloth & umbilical hernia...help pls!

My gorgeous little nephew has got an umbilical hernia and sil finds his cloth nappies press on it and cause him a lot of discomfort.
She's using meos and terries with airflow wraps.
I've suggested putting the nappy on really loosely as the wrap will keep it in place, he's only 2 months old.

But I remember there being a nappy with a little notch for the cord but can't remember which one and if they do them bigger than newborn.

Any ideas?

They're Kissaluvs and I think it's just newborn BUT Weenotions do something similar ( Weeny Wonders) and will make to order, so your SIL could contact them and ask if they will make a bigger one with popper down.

One other to consider is Growing Greens hemp, they have a fold down front and so may go low enough to clear.

I think Prorap do a wrap with cutaway, but I'm not sure what size

My DS has an umbilical hernia (12 weeks) I am using muslins and a junior joy wrap I use a nappi nippa to fasten them and do it below the tummy button but the wrap goes over the tummy button and it doesn't hurt him. I don't think it should hurt them if the nappy is over the top, my doctor said that it shouldn't hurt unless there was something else wrong, she might want to question this with the doctor as it might be infected and not just be due to the hernia as I can push my DS' hernia back in and he doesn't even notice.

Our little one is now almost two and we keep thinking his umbilical hernia is/was causing him pain but we have been assured (and reassured) that it isn't/shouldn't. He has recently discovered it and amuses himself and us by pushing it in. RE nappies- I used a variety of nappies but I found motherease quite good. I wouldn't worry about the nappies touching it unless the cord is still attached.
