stuffable fleece nappy from lollipops -a question

I bought one to try and its working very well as a night nappy for ds, stuffed with microfibre cloths from tesco...but how do you wash it? It says wash at 40oC, and not to soak, so I can't do an anti-bac soak. How do I get them clean (ie, kill some germs) after a poo?

40 is fine for cleaning nappies in the machine. Most fleece will stand up to a 60oC blast every so often too to kill any last nasties.

Thanks Flameboo, but its not the fleece I'm worried about, its the plastic bit inside that makes it waterproof...I don't want to ruin it.

Oooooh! Is it a pul inner? They can do 60 too - theonly thing I have come across so far that can't is wool.

I tend not to soak anything, wash it all on 40, then every few weeks chuck it in a 60 wash.

stick in some napisan if you are worried... that kills all the germs even at 30C

Flameboo it is a soft, slightly stretchy plastic liner...don't know what its called though.

stick it in at 40. Put some white vinegar in if you're worried. Nappies don't need to be washed at 60 all the time

Sounds like PUL - Agree with cappucino - go for 40, it'll be fine.

I use Lollipop rainbows and wash at 40 or 60. I don't soak or tumble though
