Film of why High Back Car Seat better than basic booster seat?

Our elder DD has just turned 7 but is both small & slight for her age. She is in a Britax Evolva car seat (using the car's seat belt rather than the 5-point harness). A lot of her friends are now using basic booster cushions with no side impact or head/ neck protection. Does anyone know of any good websites or videos that we can show her of crash tests comparing the two? I think a piece of film might make her realise we are not just being "mean making her use a baby -ish seat".

(Tis also challenging trying to explain it to her without slagging off other parents as a) not a good general policy & b) likely to get parroted back to people. Confused

Found this one on the guardian website (you can see how much more the head and neck are protected in a high back booster): www.theguardian.com/money/video/2010/jun/18/crash-test-child-car-seats

There's bounds to be other ones out there.

Thanks. Was getting very frustrated last night as kept finding either the band Crash Test Dummies or installation vids for car seats. I keep telling her that driving is the most dangerous everyday thing we do but we've (touch wood) not had a crash so we're having difficulty convincing her.

It's difficult to talk about it without freaking them out. We've still got our two in high backseats at 9 and 7 (9yo is small for age) and no intention of changing yet, however they use backless boosters occasionally in other people's cars and have decided that their car seats are comfier anyway for now with the headrests, could you try selling it that way?

Thank you for sharing that - that test is done using the exact seat my DS has - he (at 6.7) is happy in his 'super-comfy' seat and only occasionally asks to use the booster cushion I keep for the odd occasion we need totake an extra child etc. I will show him that video (and DH who couldn't see the point of buying a new high back booster when he "is big enough to use a cheap booster cushion"
