Exactly what it says on the tin. For a 3 year old who can already work the iPad as good as I can.
Any info appreciated

Why have a separate device? Just let DC use the ipad?

My DS (3 today!) has his own apps area that he accesses independently with reading eggs, table tots, some counting games, app books and toca train. I can't really imagine that innotab or leappad would add anything to this?

We have both in our house and the overall opinion of the family is that the leapad has better games. I also think its better because the construction feels better, the screen is sharper and the pen is on a short string so it can't get lost. So far for the innotab I've had to replace the battery cover as it broke and also buy ore pens to replace the lost ones, although these are relatively cheap from the innotab website. Having said that we've only had the leapad since July so that may not really be a fair comparison.

Innotab deal.

But personally I've decided there's no point when my DCs can use the iPad and iPhone quite happily. In fact we are considering getting a Mini iPad for the DCs as their main Christmas present.

I did quite a bit of research online and eventually decided on the innotab 3, dd loves it.
They did seem quite similar though.

He does use the iPad but we are struggling to think of birthday gifts ideas.
