Hi girls

DD's 3rd birthday is coming up next week and I'm having a party so I'm faced with the bag trauma.

Officially I know I should take a stand and start the trend of not doing them but I'm weak! So, anyone got any great ideas for what to put in them apart from the usual plastic stuff? Obviously it goes without saying that it needs to be cheap (!) and not take hours to do (I've got a 1 yrs old too).

Please help!

Thanks

Maddie

My 8 year old DD recieved some sunflower seeds as a going home pressie and she is enjoying watching them grow. Years ago when i was a nanny the child I was caring for got a hyacinth bulb as as a going home pressie. I remember her asking, "why have I got an onion"!!

I personally love doing party bags, anytime I'm passing a £ shop I have a browse. Sets that you can divide up are ideal. Those big sets of felt pens are good value, you can give 2 or 3 per child.

A lucky dip is another idea, put wrapped pressies in a bucket containing shredded paper. You could have one for girls and one for boys.
