Which supermarket does the best school clothes?

Dd starts school in September and I wondered whether Tescos, George or Sainsbury's did the best clothes? She is small to average for her age and quite thin. I need them to wash well, need minimum ironing and wear well too.
Thanks very much :)

I found the ASDA school trousers to be better than tescos for ds ( I have not tried Sainsburys). I used to like BHS for dd when she was at primary.

I have always found Asda stuff the best, far better than Tesco.

I prefer Sainsbury to tesco and george altho I've started buying M&S trousers for my DD who is also small and slim. Sainsbury polo shirts wash really well and I've never needed to iron them.

I've got shirts and polo shirts from Asda and M&S and they've been great. Sainsburys do the best summer dresses imo.

Tunics/pinafores are great to cut down on the ironing Wink. Skirts fell off my skinny dds and I found trousers made them very warm.

Thank you very much. I shall start the big hunt soon! Do they do offers/sales as school start dates approach do you know?

I found Asda trousers absolutely rubbish!

Sainsburys & M&S every time. Good quality& well priced.

Stay shopping sooner rather than later. By August the choice & sizes are often limited... Good luck!

Asda shirts/blouses/polos are excellent and wash well.don't know about for little ones but find trousers and skirts for teens to be very small.
Mind you, just bought a pack of two white short sleeved shirts for Ds for only £6 but has to get aged 14_15 to fit a tall and chunky 11 year old who is by no means the biggest in his class.

sainsburys and asda for skinny kids Smile sainsbury great quality, asda cheap. M&S and tesco aim at much fater dc than mine Hmm

MrsShrek3 · 26/06/2013 22:40

PS M&S 20% off uniform atm, shirts are good for any width child and need little or no ironing.
