What age does the endless stream of puke stop following from their mouth?!

I have had 2 children before DS3 and yet I can't remember when he is likely to stop vomming on me/the sofa/bed/car/cat/floor etc...

It's getting to be rather tiresome to be constantly covered in second hand breast milk and food and mucus. He's nearly 8 months, I must be stopping soon surely?!

DD1 was a puker and still occasionally gags on foods at nearly 7 but it did get better after about 12m when her milk consumption went down. DD2 at 2.4 has been sick only a couple of times in her life (thankfully as we moved house in the interim and now have nice carpets Grin).

DS has reflux but vomit is waning. Paediatrician says around 6mo most refluxers improve with physiological changes and weaning. (If your child happens to have reflux, but posseting/small vomits are normal for babies anyway and 6mo 'rule' still applies).

I'm no expert, but from personal experience 1yo is another 'landmark' age for change. If it goes beyond this then it's anyone's guess. SIL vomited after all meals until 2yo Confused

My DD would vomit at least twice a week usually more until she was about 3.5. I have no idea why...

Mine did this because they were intolerant to dairy. Once I cut it out, it stopped.

I think my LO was 10/11 months when she grew out of it. She's 19 months now and on a couple of occasions, usually when she has a beaker of milk in the morning, she has been sick when she has brought her wind up, thinks its probably just not settled or she's drank it too quick
