I had the same problem with my DS1. He was dry in the day from 2.10, but we could not get him dry at night until he was 4.5!
He is a very heavy sleeper & just wasn't waking up to go to the toilet.
I spoke to my HV about it & she recommended not allowing him to drink fizzy (which he doesn't drink anyway) or any blackcurrent drinks from lunchtime until bedtime. Was also reccomended to lift him when we went to bed & put him on the toilet.
We tried this for a couple of weeks & had success! He has been dry pretty much since (with the exception of the odd accident here & there), so it is worth a try!
Don't depair though - it often takes children quite a bit longer to tackle the night training. It will come!

also in order to be dry at night a hormone has to kick in...

this can happen anywhen between 2 and 5+ years...

if she is soaking EVERY night it is very likely that this hormone hasnt kicked in and until it does there is not much chance of success!
