Advice please, partner elbowed baby in the head

I was just breastfeeding my 9 week old (2 week old corrected) in bed as it was 3am feed when my partner rolled over and elbowed him in the head. He cried for a minute and continued to suck.
I cried more than he did, the sound was sickening.
He finished his feed and is now snoring away, should I get him checked? I'm too scared to go back to sleep now.

If he only cried for a minute, I'm sure he'll be fine. Heads are pretty tough!

Oh, you poor thing! But I bet he's fine. An elbow in the head isn't going to be a traumatic injury, unless it was a massive wallop.

Symptoms of head injury include throwing up, listlessness, floppiness, etc - he wouldn't have just cried and continued to feed if he was injured.

Have you put a pillow or something in between you and DH so you can feel safer about having the baby in the bed?

My d has been clinched a few times by me or Dh. He's fine.

Babies are precious but they are a lot tougher than we think!

Thank you. As I was half asleep I didn't even think about a pillow between us. We make sure there is something from now on!

I haven't been able to sleep since, and its Sod's law that after 4 nights of lo being awake all night he fell straight back to sleep tonight!

I've kept an eye on him, he seem ok.
