Well, I did it (till 5)- same room but not the same bed for the whole time and it was nice for all of us. It just worked that way, I wasn't following any manual on childcare or anything, just fell into it. She comes to bed still every morning for about half an hour for a cuddle.

saadia · 14/05/2006 16:10

This makes me feel better about co-sleeping with ds1 who is now nearly 4.5, feel bad about ds2 (2) though who starts off in the bed and is then shifted into the cot and brought back into bed in the morning.

AngelaD · 14/05/2006 20:21

I like to have them in my bed when they are tiny, the first two years at least. I wish I'd bought a bedside cot though to give us all more space.

supakids · 14/05/2006 20:41

Id rather have my 4 year ds in bed for cuddles and kick the old man out Grin mind you ds farts more than dh!

MamaMaiasaura · 14/05/2006 23:14

ds only shipped back to his bed, or i lie in his cos he fidgets too much (altho according to ds it is me that fidgets.. tis prob true)

Tortington · 14/05/2006 23:20

bollocks - when could one have a right good old rogering?

Tortington · 14/05/2006 23:21

i'd be so desperate i would leave home for my secretary.

emkana · 14/05/2006 23:21

Couldn't you have the rogering somewhere else than your bed though? Sofa?

AngelaD · 14/05/2006 23:24

Once one has children one gets a rogering anywhere one can, frankly bed is for sleeping in !

MamaMaiasaura · 14/05/2006 23:27

custardo - no chance in this house

Tortington · 14/05/2006 23:29

i am all fro a daytime rogering, but bedtime rogering takes no preperation and is not rushed. whereas sofa rogering is like sex at 16 - bit of a fumble and a quickie afore the kids burst in.

bedtime rogering - kids are asleep i get a back and head massage and its all just more relaxed.

arfy · 14/05/2006 23:31

we don't even have a bloody bed anymore - we sleep on sofas whilst DD occupies our room

I'd quite happily co-sleep and tried it but she wasn't having any of it Angry

lol at all the rogering

bloss · 15/05/2006 06:37

I want to know that woman's address so I can drop mine over to her place to have a good old co-sleep.

foundintranslation · 15/05/2006 06:45

Grin at 'rogering'
