I'm not sure if I've just been diddled by Clark's. Went to get some new shoes for DS and because he was a H breath and they didn't have any in a smaller length fitting we were given a 6 1/2 which has loads of toes space - too big basically. I was confused but just said okay cos I thought they knew what they were talking about but he's flapping about like Coco the clown now.

I went into a Clarks near uni with dd. I used to work in a Clarks so new the drill. I couldn't beleive how rude the staff were. Depending on the type of shoe, I go half a size bigger so they will last, staff member was insistant that she should only have a 9. I gave the option to dd to try a bigger size, which she did and said thay felt more comfortable. So I went with them, only to receive 10 min of abuse, saying they will trip her up and that I am gonna damage her feet. To top it off she put PC on my receipt, this means picky customer, so if I needed to take them back staff would have presumed I was a pain. I could not believe it.

Does anyone live near Norwich? We have the start-rite factory here, they have a factory outlet and fit the shoes well at half shop prices.
