Baby Swimming Question

Not sure if this is posted in the right place but...... Took DD swimming yesterday for the first time, she's 15 weeks old. She was really sweet and took it all in her stride but at one point did take in some of the pool water (it's a hydrotherapy pool at the local hospital so very warm, not sure she even noticed!). Anyway, lovely time, she slept well but today she's been a bit of a poo monster. Not smelly, normal yellow colour, just a bit watery a bit more frequent than normal, say 4 poos instead of 2 and a couple of massive farts which followed through a bit.... Is it the chlorine from the pool upsetting her gut or does it sound like a tummy bug? She's been otherwise quite herself all day and no temperature. Any ideas for a paranoid first timer? Thanks for reading.

It sounds like it could be either, but unless she seems otherwise unwell it probably isn't something to worry about. Assuming she is not on solids, just keep on feeding her and she'll soon be fine again. Personally I never heard of chlorine upsetting any babies' guts so a bug would seem more likely, but don't let it put you off taking her swimming...

Thanks for the replies. Just did a nappy change to find rather vivid green poo. Poor wee thing doesn't seem very impressed, rather tearful just now.. Fingers crossed that boob will fix it so to speak, not expecting a restful night. Thanks again.
