and I got 67! did it under exam conditions. now i just need to be able to repeat it x 12 in the real exams and I will be a very happy hat. if I can nudge it up to 70 that would be a distinction and I would cry.

well done! what sort of law are you studying, out of interest?

Cam · 02/05/2006 18:58

well done! I did some law exams a long time ago and they were hard

international. I have loved the course but am finding preparing for the exams hard work and uninspiring. I needed that mark to give me a boost!

gosh sounds a bit intellectual then Grin - is it public international law then?

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 02/05/2006 19:04

are you a lawyer? yes it is, but tend not to say that as it sounds a bit ott to non-lawyers, iyswim

a very lapsed one Grin. law degree, qualified as a solicitor, had DS, now dropped out of the rat race!

quite a few people on my course are lapsed lawyers - qualified as solicitors or barristers and got fed up so took a year off to study something they find interesting. it's quite amusing when you find them out and ask them what they specialised in and they mumble something about litigation into their coffee (makes me laugh anyway as I am a total non-lawyer)

Well done ! What course is it ? I'm a non lawyer but am interested in doing something in that field but feel have left it rather too late and not sure where to begin.

well done!

im seccond year law student, keep on like that and you will be flying! so rewarding getting really good marks, motivates you and is such a big confidence boost. i hve exams comeing up 2 in eu law Human rights, enjoyed them both. Sometimes its like all you want to do is work ure ass off, but kids house hubbie, like beinn on a roller coaster and you think, i gotta get off now. Although its also like a thrill as well, fast paced knowing your working towards sumthing. Reach for the stars and keep going!

well done, thats a really good mark! lizs-i did a cpe and there we're loads of "older" people on the course + they did get training contracts too. maybe a few more on the high street, not magic circle, but they became lawyers.

while I just went and got a proper job Grin
