What could have been an excellent opportunity to promote the use of real nappies (because they're cheaper and more reliable than disposables) has been turned into bizarre rant about how washable nappies disempower women? Huh??? Angry

when we visit dps family we need to use disposables as there is no way to wash the reusables and they invariably burst this wierd lumpy gel all over her bum after an hour. flares up her nappy rash too, and did i mention the smell?!

I just can't get excited about cloth v disposable

there's good and bad to both (as with most things)

mcmudda · 27/04/2006 22:39

I only get excited because of the money I'm saving and I'm selling the nappies on when babies are finished with them - quids in Grin

I love the way that only women were liberated by the invention of disposables. My DH is the chief nappy rinser in this household :o
