How's your first day of freedom iwish? Bet it feels loooooovely! My friend due her twins finished 1 or 2 weeks ago due to them thinking they'll be here earlier, she is just enjoying every moment until b day!

Get this for spookiness.......I found out with Euey I was pregnant on 10th December 2010. For this last one It was positive at 12dpo. If I were to find out I am pregnant again at 12 dpo, guess what? Yup, 10th December!!
Fingers crossed! Not holding much hope as been super stressed and busy, but you never know

What you all been doing today?
I've been cleaning the basement as it was grim. It's a dry basement, but they just didn't clean it from the look of it. And I found a frog! God knows how it got in! We showed Euey and we all let it go outside and he went off his tits! Was shouting I want ribbet! Ribbet gone! Ribbet gone to mummy! (I said he had to go back to his mummy just before). Bless him, he was distraught :(
Then had a walk into town and within 150 yards he'd lost his flamin bunny that is his cuddly. Walked all the way back looking for it, went into shops to see if anyone had handed it in, nothing. Walked into town absolutely panicking for tonight and bedtime. Then walked back and someone had put it just down from our house on top of a bollard!! Thank god for that!!

Yeh I'm happy work is over now. Was fed up of driving almost 2 hours to get to work. I can relax a bit more now.
Bump is feeling sore and achy today and getting a few pains v low down so don't know if she's trying to engage. I hope she's here before 38 weeks, I'm sooooo fat and fed up lol.

You put your tree and decs up yet?

We've not done it yet, I can't be bothered til next weekend. Ordered another tree and garlands and stuff for up the stairs in the hallway. Bought a load more Xmas decs today with euey (had to drag him out of the shop as he was playing with all the toys and he literally had a meltdown!! Made himself look a complete Wally, I just ignored him and the looks I was getting).
I've spent a bloody fortune but will be so worth it
Will look better next year as there won't be boxes all over the main lounge and they'll be curtains too!! We're in the snug at the moment, have kind of shoved everything in the lounge and shut the door ha ha!

Just had a looooovely bath. Robs out, euey in bed and I can have a bath without disturbing him now as he's on the top floor and bathroom in the middle. The old bathroom was next to his room so I only ever had 1 there, and wales we had a small hot water tank so I only got about 2" of water in the bath ha ha!!

These kids do do the funniest things! Violet all about the handbags at the min, she got a fisher price toddlers bag for her birthday, filled with kids phone, car keys that sort of thing, she emptied ll that out and carries round plates and about 4 spoons in it, and panics if we go out and she puts it down,or I take it from her, she thinks he's lost it all the time. My lost handbag mummy, or my lot coat mummy, or my lost scarf mummy. Er no violet its in the boot. But my need it mummy. They're so funny!!!

Talking of shoplifting, violet did yesterday!!! I bought something from body shop nd it came in a brown paper bag with proper handles, so she was carrying it like a handbag, just shut to leave the shop and she's there just putting make up off the shelf into it!! had to empty the bag!! Then we went into Claire's and she managed to come out the shop with some peppa pig bobbles. I'm wasn't going to take them back!

Ad no tree not up, I'm a traditional kinda gal, 12 days before and comes down 12 days after

My friend is having her twins today!!!!!!!
So excited for her! Meant to be coming over for a final cuppa tonight and she text me last night saying she'd been in hospital 2 days with suspected pre eclampsia so they're doing a c section today.
Made me think of you Iwish, not long, so jealous xxxxx

After I told you I had that appt last week re episiotomy and them saying I had to have a scan to see just how big she was. Well on Tuesday I had midwife appt who said I was measuring 37cm with the tape so my last 3/4 measurements took baby just over the normal size. I had my scan on Wednesday and she's measuring small! She's only just within normal. They said I have to go for another scan in 2 weeks to make sure everything is ok. They said normally they wouldn't bother but as Joshua was a decent size and there's quite a difference between fundal measurements and scan measurements they want her checked on again.

I hope she's here next week now!!!

I think we are putting our tree up this weekend. I can't wait

All ok here, all well, apart from violet seems to have diahorrea. I think it's these granules she's on. She seems to veer from hard pooh to 3-4 sloppy poohs a day. Getting less and less accidents tho, she's nearly always dry all day at nursery, but a couple of times she's come home and had an accident straight away. More or less ok tho

Yeh I'm sure all will be ok. She will probably be bigger than Joshua lol. I just want her out now tho, fed up of being huge and uncomfortable. I would love her to be here by the end of next week. Sunday next week will be 37+6 which is when Joshua was born.

Wow go Violet! She's doing so well. Bet you are v proud of her getting out of nappies. What do you do at night? Is she still in pull ups just in case?

Joshua has learnt he can get out if bed now sigh. He was out of bed at 7:00 which is so unlike him so was a total shit all day because he was tired and when I put him to bed at 7:20 he kept getting out of bed and I found him asleep at his door on the floor with his face up against the gate. Suppose I got 2 months of decent sleep but pretty pissed off that he's started doing it just as baby is going to arrive.

Oh bugger I really thought you'd got away with that one, what are you going to do?

What position is she in now?

Yes she wears a nappy or pull up at night, once she's been in the bath we usually let her play and walk about with just her Jama top on and put her nappy and bottoms on just before she goes to bed.

I think I'm just going to try ignoring him and hope for the best. There's a gate on his door so he can't actually go anywhere. I'll just hope that he will get over it before it starts going light outside.

She's head down atm, was 2/5 engaged on Tuesday and wasn't back to back woohoo! Hoping she stays in the correct position. I've had a few period pains tonight but they weren't hurting so not getting my hopes up but wishing labour to start soon haha. Will prob regret saying that when I'm in labour.

So is she ok at getting herself to the loo when she's in the middle of playing etc? Joshua has no chance at the moment. He's ok if you leave him naked after the bath but if he's distracted he would just wee.

Some days she has 2-3 accidents if we're home or out, I keep forgetting to keep asking her. Nursery must ask her all the time and she's doing really well there. She's good in that if she's playing she will usually go to the toilet, but telly is the worst. In a morning she sits at the breakfast bar and has breakfast with the telly on, usually peppa sodding pig. She sits there so transfixed she doesn't move. Wednesday morning she weed, then 5 mins later poohed all on the chair!!! All before we left the house for the school run, I was not impressed!!

Yes all fine with my friend and the twins, so excited to meet them. They went to special care to be checked and stayed in there last night. Haven't heard today, but robs out with the new daddy wetting their heads
One was 5/2 and the other 5/12 so pretty good weights really. She's hoping to be out tomorrow or Sunday, fingers crossed they'll come with her.

Oh no iwish, hope he settles back down for you. I put Euans tub chair next to his bed so he can climb back in as his bed is too high. I ignore him now and it's worked tbh. The first week we were here I was going to him as it was all new etc, but Tuesday/weds I ignored him and tonight and all good. He was at mum and dads last night as I was painting his room and didn't want him in there with the smell of the gloss.

Had his hv check yesterday, top of the class (smug face). I told her about letting him cry and yell and she agreed it was the best thing especially as the first night he yelled for an hour and a half, the next night was 10 mins, and tonight was 15 mins so that's good. He jumps into bed and pulls his covers up when he gives up so at least I know he's not cold

Liz, violet is doing fab isn't she! Shame she has had a few accidents with you, but like you say the nursery probably are more on it all day and are watching out all the time, whereas you haven't got the time. And yes, peppa pig has a lot to answer for! The channel disappeared the other day though!

Fucking knackered!! Euey went to bed fine, woke at 12 and didn't go back off til 2 when I eventually stayed with him because I wanted to sleep!! Then woke at 6,30, had e-fucking-nough!!!

Been to rand farm park today, went to see Santa and his reindeers. They had really fierce looking antlers!!! Lulu was terrified of Santa! She eventually went in, shaking, spoke to him ok tho. Violet just hid between my legs but as soon as she realised she was going to get a present she was right there being her charming self!! No accidents so far today. she's gone to the gun shop 20 miles away with her dad. I've just cleaned the shower while she's been gone. Nice to get an hours peace

I put Joshua to bed last night and surprise surprise he got out of bed, found him asleep on the floor at his door. He didn't wake when I put him in bed tho. And he actually stayed in bed this morning till I went to get him just before 9.

He is good when he goes up to bed. Even when he gets put of bed he's been going to sleep ok, he doesn't cry or shout me just chats away to himself.

Joshua's doing really well with his sleeping! I can't be,I've how we'll both of your kids stay in bed. I know they get up abit, but nothing like I imagined they would.

The last lie in I had, which never usually happens, and was really glad for, was Sunday, violet didn't wake up till 8.50. It was sooooo nice to not rush about.

I HAVE had almost a year of shite sleep though Liz lol!! I would bloody love 8.50!!!!

Might test later, just emailed my friend (7 kids so very experienced with all this!!) and she can slightly see it too. OMG!

What time is Violet usually up liz? Sod's law Joshua was still in bed when nick needed to take him to nursery this morning (yes I stayed in bed lol). He opened Joshua's door at 7:50 and after 5 mins heard him crying saying 'no up, night night time' and 'Joshie tired' bless him. Bet he would have had a nice lie in.

And yep I feel ready to drop, I went for a walk with Joshua yesterday hoping it would start something off, I've been bouncing on my ball at every opportunity too!
