We use them for DD1 (2 yrs) and DD2 5 months and we like them. Have never really used another brand to compare with though.

Tutter · 20/04/2006 21:51

ooh yes. even tho ds the least active baby in the world.

Used them a couple of times for DS1 but they leak. They're flimsy, IMO. Tesco better.

I can't honestly say I've noticed any difference between Pampers or Asda's or Lidl's own brand - apart from the price.

mazzystar · 20/04/2006 21:53

i think they're ok, bit chemical smelling but aren't all disposables? quite bendy at the sides and seem to have the capacity to cope with ds awesome night wees.

hester · 20/04/2006 21:55

I like them. But then I also like Tesco's own brand which are much cheaper Smile

It's the night wee's that need to soak up iyswim

They always leaked on DD. We stuck with Pampers Baby Dry, and then onto Easy up pants.

Nonyummymummy · 20/04/2006 22:01

Another vote for Tesco's own brand for DD 19mos - the best we've tried, although haven't done a huge sampling exercise. UK version only - Irish one is not so good, I only resort to Pampers Active Fit when I go back to Ireland!

sian1 · 22/04/2006 21:22

i have to agree tesco's own and asda's george nappies are def a hit with me. my son drinks like a fish but the nappies work wonders. next step potty training!!

sarahlou1uk · 23/04/2006 14:53

Changed from huggies to pampers active fit when my ds was younger as the sides were a lot stretchier than the huggies. Then went onto pampers easy up pants and now just started potty training.

jmum6 · 23/04/2006 15:27

Pampers leaked on us nearly everytime. Found huggies much better - but haven't tried the Tesco's own brand. Will give it a try

blueteddy · 23/04/2006 15:42

I found them much better than the baby dry nappies, which I felt were a poor fit & too plasticy. Liked the fact they were nice & soft and they had very good stretchy sides. DS never leaked with them either.
Didn't get on with the easy up pants though.

ShuvDugg · 23/04/2006 23:43

Started with baby dry, tried active fit early on but went back to baby dry. Now that the little fella is bigger and more active however, I much prefer the active fit.
I think the most important thing is to be sure you're using the right size, and don't assume that the same size in different nappies, even of same brand, will fit the same!?

aideesmum · 24/04/2006 10:59

Have only ever got on with Tescos own brand as all the others seemed to leak. Tried Sainsburys own brand last week and they were absolute rubbish and ds woke up very wet!
