For a 3 year old (and his 2 yo brother when he's around I guess) I just can't make up my mind. I sometimes feel they're too violent, scary and just gross then I've been called over bearing & over protective more thana few times. I feel like a party pooper when I turn stuff off & DH thinks it's fine because 'they're boys' (which is a whole 'nother annoyance)

Anyone have an opinion?

Ds is also 3 and loved the whiley coyote and bugs bunny DVDs we bought for him. We saw a marked decline in his behaviour after he'd watched them though, more rough, shoving etc which went when we took the DVDs away. They are not likely to return for a couple of years yet.

I would say he (they) are too young for Spiderman. also my 3 year old has started getting more frightened recently, I guess he's getting to grips with the world around him, but I would guess that such programmes could be more frightening as a result.

I'm reminded of my mum's godson, who had nightmares, as a 7 - 8 year old, when his parents decorated his room. They changed his Superman curtains for plain ones and the nightmares stopped. If these can be a bit much for 7 year olds, they're definitely too much for your 2 year old.
