Have a good look at the \link{http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/\Nappy Lady website}. You can fill in a questionnaire on there, to get a personal recommendation on what nappies would best suit your baby and your circumstances. HTH :)

i tried loads and loads but my overall faves are motherease one size and ellas house bumsnugglers.

the motherease (meos) are great, they're slimmer than a lot of other nappies and you can get stay dry boosters that popper on to make them thicker and they don't need a liner then either.

ellas house are more expensive adn they take longer to dry but again they're reasonably slim and they are VERY absorbant as they're made of hemp. They also need no liner as the inside is all fleece.

whatever you go for i'd strongly recommend the motherease airflow wrap... absolute best!

when ds was very little I actualy used bog standard terry squares as they were slimmer than a lot of the shaped nappies and so adjustable!

I agree with you starlover. Since DD was born (9 months ago)we have used MotherEase nappies, very rarely we had leaksSmile, also very easy to use... As Laura mentionned, we had help too from the advisers at The Nappy Lady. We are so happy to have decided to use the washable nappies. Hope you stick to your idea sniff Wink.. and shame you didn't think about it for your first babies because you can use and reuse mother ease for at least 2 children...

starlover · 15/04/2006 20:39

yeah you;ll have to have another one to make sure you get maximum use out of them! lol

lol... it looks like my lot of Mother Ease might stay in a cupboard for a while (or forever!!!) after DD is potty trained!!!! Or maybe they will be on Mumsnet sale or given away... Won't have a second baby to have the maximum use of themBlush... Good reply from you starlover!!!

hi sniff.
I only started using cloths with my dd and I love them. Very easy to use and surprisingly addictive..lol I use motherease one size and tots bots for my daughter. I prefer the motherease airflow wraps as they can be adjusted on waist or legs so if you have a thinner waisted baby who has chunky legs[like my little monkey] they are great. The velcro wraps are good but you cant get the same all over fit.

starlover - you made me laugh but I think I can be nice and donate them to someone else four children is just scary
