BSL Users!!

I know some of you are really good at BSL from previous threads. DD is deaf and I sign as much as poss with her, but my deaf teacher is away and I need to know the signs for pear and parsnip. Can anyone attempt to explain them to me?

I remember you, Geo (but can't remember your real name, although we've met!). Yes, Domi is becoming deafer by the minute and it's so distressing. I wonder if it's because we went swimming twice last week and he's so deaf that another 10dB loss due to glue ear or whatever could have tipped him over into the totally deaf group. He keeps telling us he can't hear and that he needs an operation... If only it were that straightforward. DD (1) can hear and we notice the differnce between how easy things are for her compared to him and that's v sad (although, obviosuly happy for Sylvia).
